Rotterdam and Naples, Gyz discovered, are cities for the working class hero. They aren't cocky cities like Milan, Paris and - all right - Amsterdam. No, Rotterdam and Naples are folksy, multicultural and raw. The dream of many youngsters is to be like Tony Montana from Scarface, or the football player Messi and the rapper Tupac. These are rough cities, but behind this roughness lies the warmth and solidarity of the street life. They love their cities like they love each other. Its no coincidence that the supporters of Feyenoord (despite their bad reputation in Italy after the riots in Rome in 2015) and SSC Napoli are the most loyal and fanatical in following in their countries. Wouldn't it be great, Gyz further aruges, if these cities together with similar harbour cities like Marseille and Liverpool became like brother cities? Places that are no about the money, but about community spirit or ' brotherhood ' . He already has the name for it : New Nepolis
